Big day for Tara

Tara is now in surgery to place a feeding tube in her stomach, so that we can better regulate her diet. She is also having a biopsy done and tumor oxygen measurement as well as some lab work done.
The vet called earlier and said that she has heart arythmia, which means that her heart will speed up and than slow basically out of control. Fortunately they gave her some medication and her heart returned to normal, so they proceeded with the procedure. They are going to put the feeding tube in first and than do the rest, just in case they begin to have trouble. We should be able to take her home later on this afternoon.

Cam is piling wine corks all over Tara. She is being very patient, as she always is with her good little buddy. Look at his smile...how cute!

Tara is already sick here. She is lying in my legs as we begin or end another of our famous naps together.
